Arrisbrook Builders
An arris isn't a woman with inherited wealth and country club memberships. It's the line, ridge, or hip formed by the meeting of two surfaces at an exterior angle, an architectural term that most people have never heard but would instantly recognize if they looked up at a cathedral ceiling. Seen from below, the arris resembles a stylized star. By removing elements until only the basic vaults remained, the star reads as a flower: refined, unexpected, and quietly structural.
The elegant typeface paired with the off-center arris shape reflected Arrisbrook's refreshingly honest and atypical approach to home building. The singular orange petal signaled something else — the client's commitment to innovative building materials that were better for the environment and the communities their homes were built in.
